The whole wide world is silver
With diamonds here and there;
On a snow-filled winter morning
There's beauty everywhere.

The air is crisp and bracing,
The treetops dressed in lace;
You walk in breathless silence,
And wonder lights your face.

The sparrow tracks are myriad
A red squirrel scampers by,
And from the cedar woodlot
You hear a bluejay cry.

There's magic all around you
At any time of year;
You only need awareness
To see, and feel, and hear.
